This antique souvenir spoon (c.1894) is in very good condition. The spoon is made by A. F. Towle & Sons in the 1885 Spray pattern. The bowl shows a beautiful engraving of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the Public Square in Cleveland, Ohio. Dedicated on July 4, 1894 as a Civil War monument, this spoon also has engraved at the tip of the bowl '94. Cleveland, O is engraved behind the tower. The handle is monogrammed with the name Erie and a worn illegible engraving on the back of the handle. The spoon is 5 3/8" in length and weighs 15.2 grams of sterling silver.
