This is a simple sterling curb link bracelet with six charms, not all sterling. As I've mentioned before, I leave the bracelets as I get them and do not add or take charms off. But first a word of warming when buying sterling charms. Many charms are advertised as sterling because they are stamped STER or STR, short for sterling. NOT all charms stamped this are actually sterling while some are. So how does one know? The easiest and first simple test is a magnet. If the charm is attracted to the magnet strongly, it may not be sterling. Many Sterling charms are plated with chromium that does attract a magnet. This is done to prevent tarnishing. Secondly, I use an acid test to determine if it is sterling or not. I do not want someone buying an item thinking it is sterling when in fact it is not. Thus, in my descriptions, I try to go over each charm as I will with this one. First the bracelet, the bracelet is sterling and stamped so and is 7" in length and approximately 7.5 mm in diameter. The first charm is a bird cage or dog cage and is not sterling. The second charm is a state figure of Florida, sterling. Same with the United States charm. The fourth charm is my favorite. This is a Beau Sterling round charm for California, most likely Southern California with its palm trees. This sterling charm is 1" in diameter. Next is an Alabama sterling state charm and finally a round Puerto Rico charm stamped STER but not sterling. Soooo.... there you go!! Even though charms may not be sterling does not mean they don't add value to the piece or have sentimental value. If they have meaning to you that is all that really matters. Total weight is 16.9 grams.
