This sterling spoon is in very good condition with normal wear. What appeals to me is the back of the handle which has a depiction of the Seven Falls in Colorado Springs cascading down the back of the handle in such gorgeous detail. The falls terminate with a floral display of Columbine, the state flower of Colorado. The bowl is plain and the front of the handle has the State Seal, a pack burro or donkey, a miner and again terminating with a Columbine display. Marked with the Mechanics sterling mark and sterling, this spoon is 5 3/4" in length and weighs 23.8 grams of sterling silver.
