This vintage money clip made in Jalisco, Mexico is in very good condition. The front has some nice engravings of what looks like an acanthus leaf with other engravings. Centered is a chip turquoise inlay with a horseshoe in the middle. The front and back are sterling while the clip at the top is a mixed metal. The back side has a pierced opening of a dollar sign under which is a triangular figure around which is stamped- Plata de Mexico. Inside the triangle is 925. Below the triangle is V.H.L.C Cuad. Mex. To the side of the triangle is a bell shaped stamp with the number 50 inside. This piece is 2" tall by 1" wide and weighs 19.5 grams.
