This is one gorgeous souvenir spoon. Made in sterling silver by R. Wallace & Sons, this spoon has a beautiful engraved depiction of St Mary's Lake in Glacier National Park. The handle is the star of the show with an American Indian with a buffalo headdress and a "swastika" symbol above. There is a "swastika" emblem on the handle, not to be confused with the German swastika but the American Indians used this (and other cultures back 3,000 years ago) prior to that to represent the sun, power, strength or good luck. The back of the handle has several themes including a buffalo head skull, arrows, snow shoes, etc. The spoon is 5 15/16" in length and weighs 24.5 grams of sterling silver. This is a prized collectors piece.
