This gorgeous sterling souvenir spoon by Hirsch & Oppenheimer of Chicago, Illinois is in very good condition with normal light wear. The bowl depicts the State Capitol of Colorado but to me the handle is what stands out. The handle has a standing robed lady with a staff and banner with the wording Forward written on a banner behind her head. Several themes are shown both front and back. The back has an American Indian, burro and the back side of the lady standing in front. A very beautiful piece. The spoon is 5 7/8" in length and weighs 30.4 grams.
