This is a magnificent piece. The is octagonal napkin ring is in excellent condition with normal wear for an item of its age. Made in Sheffield, England in 1892 by Silversmith Henry Atkin. This pieced is monogrammed in a very fancy script under which is a date of Oct. 22 1892, most likely a presentation date for a birthday or other special occasion. What is spectacular about this piece is the amount of floral, vine and leaf engravings on all sides, just beautiful. This fine piece is 2" wide by 1 1/4" deep and 1 3/8" tall. Sterling weight is 31.1 grams or 1 troy ounce.
