This antique bar pin by (Eifco) Elton I Franklin Co. is in excellent condition with a nice patina. The 2 1/2" wide pin has six diamond like stones, each faceted . The center stone has two smaller stones, one on each side and the end stones also have a smaller one just to the inside. There is a beautiful filigree work that separates the center stones from the ends. The stones are quite brilliant which makes me think they may be paste as opposed to rhinestones. The width at the middle is 3/16". The needle portion is marked Eifco and sterling. Elton I Franklin founded the company in 1874 in Attleboro, MA. The company went out of business in 1922. Total weight is 3.8 grams. This piece is approximately 100+/_ years old.
