This antique sterling spoon by Howard Sterling (1891-1901) is in excellent condition. The bowl depicts the three ships of Columbus, the Nina, Pinta and the Santa Marie. The stem has a nautical theme with a ships wheel and rope and along the stem is Columbus Caravels 1893. The back is stamped with the Howard Co. hallmark and sterling along with the jeweler Moore & Leding of Washington, D.C. (1881-1899). The spoon is 4 1/4" in length and weighs 12.5 grams.
