This napkin ring by Australian silversmith Kilpatrick & Co. of Melbourne, Australian is in very good condition with normal wear. There are a couple of nice scratches on the inside but the outside is fantastic. This has a pointed shield cartouche which is open and on each side is a nice engraved Banksia motif. Banksia is a common native plant in Australia. Kilpatrick & Co. were silversmiths from 1890 to the 1900's. This piece is not sterling and does not test for silverplate as well but an old piece none the less. This measures 1 1/32" tall and 1 1/2" in diameter. Stamped with the Kilpatrick hallmark on the inside as shown.
