This pair of 1790 sterling berry spoons by London silversmiths George Smith and William Fearn are in excellent condition. The bowls have a nice gold wash and the identical handles have a beautiful floral and acanthus motif. There are no monograms on these fine pieces. Total sterling weight is 144.1 grams or 4.63 ozt. (5.08 ounces) for both. They are 8 3/4" in length. This is a very fine pair. Hallmarked with the the London mark and 1790 date mark. The makers mark is worn but noticeable on the one and worn more on the other.
