This cute Dutch ladle is in very good condition. The fluted bowl has the maiden carrying water. The stem has a cherub motif and a hook on the back of the handle to prevent from slipping into the pot. I'm unsure what the finial is with the man holding two discs. The handle is stamped with the 2nd purity mark for .833 silver and an unknown makers mark of PvdW. The spoon weighs 20.5 grams and is approximately 4 3/4" in length. This would make a great cream ladle or a serving ladle for hollandaise sauce for those eggs benedict at Sunday Brunch.
