This solid sterling asparagus server by Durgin in the 1906 Hampshire pattern is in excellent condition with very minor wear. The Hampshire pattern is quite ornate. This is a beautiful piece. It is monogrammed in a fancy script. The back is stamped with the Durgin hallmarks, sterling and the retailer J.E. Caldwell & Co. Originally a silversmith c. 1839-1860, J. E. Caldwell & Co. later became a retailer of fine silver. This fine piece is 9 1/4" in length and weighs 3.73 ozt (4.09 ounces) or 115.9 grams.
