This sterling berry spoon by silversmith John Blake (1788-1809) is in excellent condition. Non dings or dents and the gold wash in the bowl is intact with some light wear. This piece has a scalloped edge with a floral motif. The handle is nicely engraved with a nice acanthus and floral design. Hallmarked IB for John Blake of London and a date mark for 1802. This piece is 9" in length and weighs 1.65 ounces.
