This sterling spoon is in excellent condition. The finial is a depiction of two Griffins on each side of a cross shield and sword. Under which is "Domine Diriche Nos" (translated-Lord direct us, the motto of London) and under that London. The bowl has a vey nice gold wash to it.The spoon is 4 1/2" in length and weighs 10.0 grams. Hallmarks are for Birmingham and 1931. The makers mark is a G's, unsure exactly who this is but it is possible to be Garrads Ltd.
