This cream or sauce ladle by N.E. Crittenden of New York and Ohio is in excellent condition. There are no dings or dents to the bowl just normal wear from use. This piece is monogrammed C McComb in a fancy script. It weighs 16.4 grams of coin silver and is 5 5/8" in length The bowl is 1 3/4" wide. Newell Ebenezer Crittenden (1804-1872) was a silversmith in the early 1800's in Le Roy and Albany, New York and later in Cleveland, Ohio.
