This match safe c. 1890's is in very good condition with just a few minor pinpoint dings. The plating is almost all there, probably99%. It was meant to be worn around the neck as the loops on each side suggest. The top of the lid has the striker that is in excellent shape. It snaps closed with a friction close, very nice and tight. It is 2 1/8" wide not counting the rings and 1 1/2" high and 1/2" deep. A really nice and unusual piece.
