This coin silver teaspoon by silversmith S. S. Newton is in excellent condition. There are no dings or dents to the bowl. Hallmarked with a pseudo hallmark and S.S. Newton. Monogrammed with M. Trowbridge on the handle in fancy script. Samuel S. Newton was listed as a merchant in Cornwall, CT in 1850 and a watchmaker in Winchester, CT in 1880. The spoon is 6 1/8" in length and weighs 20.6 grams.
