This set of five sterling teaspoons by Whiting in the 1909 Dorothy Vernon pattern are in excellent condition with light scratching from use as to be expected from an old estate piece. These are heavy spoons at over 34.0 grams each, the way spoons used to be made. These do have an ornate script monograms of LHM. The monogram looks more like it is part of the pattern than an added engraving. The spoons are over 5 3/4" in length and weigh a combined weight of 171.8 grams or 5.5 ozt.
