This sterling souvenir spoon depicting Perry's Victory is in good condition with slight wear commensurate for its age. The bowl depicts Perry's Victory at Lake Erie. Commodore Perry defeated the British on the Great Lakes in the War of 1812. The handle shows the fort at Erie, PA. The back is marked sterling along with the retailer H.T. Jarecki. and the upper portion of the handle reverse is engraved Sept. 10/1808. The spoon length is almost 5 3/4" and weighs 21.7 grams.
