This beautiful coin silver fish server retailed by Larmour & Co. is in excellent condition with minor scratches commensurate with its age. Presented most likely as a gift on Oct. 11, 1867 as inscribed on the handle with the script monogram that appears to be EYG. This fish server was retailed by Larmour & Co of Baltimore, Maryland 1862-1874 founded by William B. Larmour. What I like is the depiction on the blade of a house or building fronted by a bridge and another scene which what appears to be a bridge with a waterfall. A very nice piece.
This fish server weighs 4.12 ozt or 128.3 grams. It is 12" in length. The blade is 2 1/2" wide at its widest point and 6 5/8" long.
