Grade "A" Malachite beads are used to make this 16-inch long necklace. Spaced between the beads are sterling silver disc beads and a hand-made Artisan Malachite and sterling silver southwest style pendant hangs from the center of the piece.
The Malachite beads are hand cut and polished irregular shapes that display the natural designs in this beautiful natural green stone.
Each hand-shaped bead is separated by a 6 mm sterling silver disk bead made by Eric Begay, Navajo, from NativArts in Nevada.
The Vintage sterling silver and Malachite pendant is hallmarked for sterling silver precious metal content and signed with a makers mark "LA" and a pentagram star. The pendant measures 1 inch by 3/4 of an inch with a 20 mm X 15 mm Malachite cabochon bezel set in a sterling silver leaf motif. The pendant hangs 1 inch down from the center of the necklace. A Rhodium-plated lobster claw clasp is used to secure the necklace when worn.
This is a beautiful all-natural bead necklace with a signed artisan pendant that is sure to be one you will reach for time and again to wear. It will make a fine addition to a jewelry collection!
