Here is a Rare porcelain teacup and saucer set from San Francisco California, hand-painted in the Art Nouveau style from the 1920s. This beautiful set was made by the Miller & Breeding company listed in the 1917 San Francisco business directory as being located at 142 McAllister Street in that city. The painting is in the romantic Art Nouveau style of the 1920s, representing violets with green leaves against a pale yellow background with a bold gold gilt trim. The violets on the saucer are painted against a pale lavender rim that circles the edge of the piece. This teacup and saucer are Rare pieces. The Miller & Breeding porcelain company did not last long and items from their business are hard to find as they do not come to the market often. The pieces presented here are beautiful and in very good condition without chips or signs of use.
