The ring presented here today is a mid century cocktail ring with a natural Beryl aquamarine stone prong set in 10 K gold.
The stone is grade color medium blue, measuring 17.5 mm X 10 mm X 5 mm with an approximate 6.5 ct weight. The shape is rectangular and it is eye clear. It is a corner cut fancy cut stone showing some small chips along the pavilion ridge under 10 X magnification. Otherwise the stone is clear with no signs of chipping to the naked eye.
This is an estate jewelry piece showing few signs of ware and demonstrating the "simple elegance" of jewelry made during the 1960's in the US.
