From an estate collection this vintage cocktail ring has a beautiful translucent green jadeite marquise cabochon set in 14 K yellow gold. The cabochon measures 12.5 X 5.5 mm, is an excellent example of translucent Jadeite and is a nice representational color of "jade" green.
The 14 K yellow gold design surrounding the Jadeite setting measures 18 X 8 mm as sitting on the finger. It is brushed on the top of the gold setting that surrounds the cabochon and lends depth through texture to the piece. There is a makers mark on the inside of the ring band. The makers mark is a bird in flight. There is also a metal Hallmark that indicates the ring is made with 14 K gold.
This is an estate jewelry piece from the 1980's and is in very good condition. It is a size 7 and weighs 5 grams.
