Estate jewelry: Vintage: signed Antonio Pineda

Presented here is an iconic pair of earrings designed and made by the Internationally renowned Mexican modernist silversmith/designer Antonio Pineda during the 1950s. The design is from his very collectible "wave" motif introduced in the early 1950s.

The round cabochon stone setting is Adventurine, a green quartz crystal that sparkles when exposed to the light. The earrings are hallmarked 970 for precious metal content and bare the crown makers mark for Antonio Pineda used at this time in his career. The Mexican Eagle mark has the number 3 stamp with the MPC stamps he used to identify the date and place the item was created. The earrings measure 3/4 of an inch round and weigh 10 grams each. They are in good age-appropriate condition and will be sent to you in a black velvet box for keeping.
