Water imagery is expressed through pairing natural colored silver gray fresh water pearls with the "wave" patterned agate pendent that is hung from this necklace with a sterling silver double wave design bail. The imaginative piece of jewelry is made by knotting cultured Kasumi "like" fresh water pearls from China on silk chord and hanging the blue and white geode agate pendent from them with a wave design bail. The necklace is secured with a round sterling silver box clasp that has a fresh water mabe pearl bezel set on top. The AA grade pearls measure 9.5 mm to 10.5 mm each. They have a natural "crinkle" surface that facilitates the reflection of light and contributes to the rich luster and silvery orient these pearls demonstrate. The pearl necklace is 17 inches long including the clasp.
The rectangle agate pendent is faceted to amplify the natural blue and white wave pattern of the geode slab cut stone. when the necklace is worn it measures approximately 11 inches from the nap of the neck to the bottom of the pendent. The piece weighs 4 oz.
Lots of natural beauty in this piece!
