The center of attention for this piece of jewelry is an enamel "wedding" charm depicting two white cranes flying towards the sun over a body of water. One of the cranes has a yellow flower in its beak. The "wedding" charm was made in South Korea by the Baronson Card Co. LTD that specializes in wedding invitations and wedding keepsakes. The charm is in good condition with some ware showing on the back of it.
The charm measures 26 x 32 mm and is the enamel picture of the two flying cranes on one side and gold plate with a makers mark on the other. I have hung a gold plate "plumb" from the wedding charm to give it "gravity" and "stability."
Twelve 10 mm red jasper round beads, each wrapped with gold plate wire and framed by two antiqued gold filled bead caps, and twelve 6 mm red jasper round beads with two 3 mm gold plate beads, make up the 22 inch long support necklace for the charm.
A 9 mm gold plate lobster claw clasp secures the piece.
This necklace has a regal presence and is sure to attract a lot of attention!
