Antique Sterling Silver Vinaigrette By George Unite, Birmingham, England, 1882.
Of rectangular form with wavy borders, the front and the reverse are made with enigne turned decoration, the hinged lid is centered with a vacant cartouche (not monogrammed).
The gilt (gold washed) interior is made with a hinged grille pierced and engraved with floral and foliate ornaments.
The interior still with the scent sponge.
Connected with a hanging loop.
Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England, dated 1882, maker's mark the renowned silversmith George Unite.
Very good condition.
