Highly detailed image of a horse's head done in sterling silver is offered. The horse shows much detail from his nose on to his eye, the ears and mane. The eye is done with his pupil clearly shown. His ears are perked up and slanting forward indicating he's ready to get on the road. The bridle and reins are done in relief. The bridle slips around his head and across his nose. There is a buckle for the bridle at his temple. The reins drape from a ring at the bridle down to his neck. All this is done in nice separated relief being soldered at various points. 2" long, 1 1/2" wide and 1/8" deep. Superior craftsmanship. Lovely condition. Secure locking clasp. Marked on back Sterling.
