This Le Tallec pattern is illustrated in the book, Atelier Le Tallec Hand Painted Limoges Porcelain by Waterook-Clyde, on page 195. Atelier Le Tallec was started by Camille Le Tallec in 1930. He conceived his Atelier in the tradition of Sevres porcelain, of which he was an avid collector. In the 1960, Le Tallec started producing pieces for Tiffany & Co. Following Camille Le Tallec's death in 1991, the workshop was bought by Tiffany & Co. which began labeling their wares "Tiffany Private Stock." Clients of Le Tallec have included the Prince of Qatar, the president of France, and Hollywood celebrities. Waterook-Clyde's book says that "Atelier Le Tallec has become the foremost studio in the world for exquisite hand painted porcelain, continuing a 350-year tradition in France that began during the reign of Louis XIV." The Le Tallec studio painted on only the highest quality Limoges blanks.
