He conceived his Atelier in the tradition of Sevres porcelain, of which he was an avid collector. In the 1960, Le Tallec started producing pieces for Tiffany & Co. Following Camille Le Tallec's death in 1991, the workshop was bought by Tiffany & Co. which began labeling their wares "Tiffany Private Stock." Clients of Le Tallec have included the Prince of Qatar, the president of France, and Hollywood celebrities. Waterook-Clyde's book says that "Altier Le Tallec has become the foremost studio in the world for exquisite hand painted porcelain, continuing a 350-year tradition in France that began during the reign of Louis XIV." The Le Tallec studio painted on only the highest quality Limoges blanks.
