This doll measures about 10 1/2 inches tall and has a body that appears to be used for a door stop. It is not heavy enough for that in my opinion, but it is ideal for sitting on a shelf. I love how sassy this doll's face is. The features are wonderfully bold. They are, of course, painted on a buckeye, which is a bit more unusual. She cradles a white infant in each arm. They are simply made but have nice details with the bonnets and long dresses. Notice that her hands have individually stitched fingers. She is an interesting example of another era.
