More from Red Dog Dolls
Once again history and doll collecting collide. This little dress probably dates to WWI and is such a remarkable piece of history. I have seen the red cross on nurse dolls but never on a garment like this. The red cross is stitched onto this little garment in white thread. The dress has been trimmed with white rick a rack on the sleeves, around the neck and on the pockets. Dress is treadle stitched. It measures 11 1/2 inches under arms. It has no shoulder seams. It is 14 inches long from neck to hem. Please feel free to ask questions or request more photos. Do take a look at my other early doll items and thank you for shopping Red Dog Dolls.
