I don't think I have ever seen such a lovely pair of painted charlottes. Color choices are perfection and beautifully painted. The little girl wears the head band that has garnered her the Alice name. Her pink dress and white apron are very eye catching as are her orange boots. Notice as they stand together, it is her little orange boots and his orange tie. They were certainly meant as a pair. He, too, is beautifully painted. Notice the lavender squiggle lines on his pants. They date 1870s and are in beautiful condition. They are about 2 3/4 inches tall. They do require, though, a bit of sticky poster stuff to keep them upright or you can lean them against a wall. Regardless, their presence is just too charming. Feel free to ask questions or request more photos. Take a look at more other early doll items and thank you for shopping Red Dog Dolls.
