This is a truly hard to find item. When is the last time that you came across an 1860s dollhouse size dress without a doll wearing it? It is a dress for a dollhouse doll and it was made in the 1860s. From shoulder to hem it is about 3 inches long. Across the shoulders it is roughly 1 1/2 inches. It has 3 tiny shell buttons and all button holes are hand made. For that matter, it appears that the whole dress is hand made. Notice the darling ruffle that is at the end of the sleeves. There is a bit of yellowing here and there and a dark mark on the front of the dress. Nonetheless, if you have the old dollhouse doll and have yearned for an original dress, this will probably fit the bill. Please feel free to ask questions or request photos. Do take a peek at my other early items and thank you for shopping Red Dog Dolls.
