This doll is simply gorgeous. I love this very pale bisque, her original blond mohair wig and her delicate coloring. Above all, I love her brown eyes and her very flirtatious smile. I really have not seen that many fashions with the brown eyes. Also notice the dainty brushstrokes for her eyebrows and the lovely lashes painted around her eyes. I believe this doll is from the 1870s and she is about 18 inches tall. Her body is very clean but does have a bit of tape on one arm which I have photographed for you. I have also photographed what is a bit of sticky residue on one shoulder which I think is from the leather of her body. There is no damage to her head or shoulder plate. She is unmarked, but I have been told she is a Barrois, but really I am not sure. I believe her earrings are original, but the dress is not. The dress is fabulous. It is early silk and entirely lined. There are some places where the silk is melting, but you do not notice because of the lining. The sleeves on the dress are so wonderfully detailed, I just wish I could post more photos. Underclothing is all antique. She wears blue boots which are vintage replacements. She comes as you see her with her antique hat and lace shawl. Please feel free to ask questions or request more photos. My shipping price is just a guess and I will refund any over charge beyond my expenses. Thank you for the look.
