A stunning, mid-century 14kt gold bracelet, consisting of individual, beautifully-decorated plaques, joined by meticulously-crafted links. While the look and feel of this bracelet is stunning, it is the craftsmanship that really takes center stage. Each plaque was carefully joined to the next one by two small, rectangular links, in a jewelry-making process that was time-consuming and painstaking. The resulting fluid, flexible bracelet lies like a ribbon of gold on the wrist. A real testament to the art of both goldsmith and jeweler.
The bracelet measures 7-5/8 inches x 5/8 inches, and it is approximately 1/16 inch in thickness. It is comprised of 19 individual, articulated plaques, each embellished with decorative motif. It weighs 24.5 grams, or 0.79 troy ounces. The bracelet is tested as 14kt gold, and is marked "585" along with a maker's mark. It fastens by means of a concealed box clasp. The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition.
This wonderful bracelet will arrive in a fine presentation box.
