A stunning Art Deco navette ring, circa 1925, featuring a 0.60ct, marquise cut center diamond, embellished with a classic, Art Deco geometric arrangement of gorgeous, calibre-cut emeralds and baguette cut and round brilliant cut diamonds. Total carat weight of the diamonds is approximately 1.50ct. Set in platinum, with diamonds embedded in the shoulders, and engraving around the entire band, this magnificent ring embodies the height of Art Deco jewelry design. With its showstopping size, intricate craftsmanship, and beautiful, sparkling green and white color, this is a unique ring that will be at home in the most glamorous of settings.
Total weight of this superb ring is 5.2 grams. Crafted in platinum, it is hallmarked "irridium 10%/platinum", and the workmanship is unparalleled. Millegrain edging surrounds the diamonds and emeralds. The center marquise cut diamond is an estimated 0.60ct, with H color and VS2 clarity. (All weights and measurements by formula, as permitted by mounting). Surrounding the center diamond are a total of 24 baguette cut and round brilliant cut diamonds, with an approximate total carat weight of 0.90ct, and an average of H/VS2 color/clarity. Fourteen calibre-cut emeralds complete the design. The gallery displays pierced scroll work, and the band is engraved in a scroll-like design three-quarters around. The setting measures approximately 15/16" x 1/2". Currently a size 5, it can be resized a couple of sizes by your jeweler. It is in excellent condition.
