Total weight of this platinum and diamond pin is 5.1 grams. The diamonds are transitional round brilliant cuts, with a 0.10ct center diamond, flanked by a further 8 diamonds totaling 0.24ct, for a total carat weight of 0.34ct. (Diamond weights calculated by formula, as permitted by mounting). The diamond quality is excellent, displaying fine sparkle and brilliance, averaging H color and VS2-SI1 clarity. The platinum mounting, engraved in a foliate design with millegrain edging, measures 2-3/16" by 1/4", and is acid-tested. The pin closes with a "C" clasp with safety catch. It is in very good condition.
