It's not always about bright colors in gemstones, and this elegant, sophisticated, vintage garnet ring, featuring a central, 1.25ct garnet whose color can best be described as a deep, shiny, reddish mahogany, proves the point. The high luster of garnet gives a rich glow to this reddish-brown stone, making it an elegant piece of jewelry that can accent different outfits in a new way. The central garnet is accented by six small, prong-set garnets of the same rich color, and all set in a beautifully-crafted, 14kt gold ring, with a solid, simple band, rope-style, scrolled shoulders, and a classic, mid-century cluster design. A beautiful and timeless ring for many occasions.
Total weight of this garnet and gold ring is 6.3 grams. The main garnet is approximately 1.25ct, accented by six smaller garnets. (Weights and measurements estimated, as permitted by mounting). The setting measures about 3/4" x 5/8", and the band width is almost 1/8". The ring is size 6.5, and can be easily resized by your jeweler. It is 14kt gold throughout, stamped "14K" and acid-tested. It is in very good condition, with just a few tiny scratches on the underside of the band.
This delightful, unusual ring will arrive in a fine quality presentation box.
