A beautiful and elegant coral and diamond ring, set in 18kt white gold, with a full set of English hallmarks denoting its creation in London in 1976. The salmon-pink, natural coral cabochon is set in a classic, split-shoulder mounting that is embellished with ten small diamonds. Simple, elegant and timeless.
Total weight of this exquisite ring is 4.3 grams. The coral gemstone measures 9.1 x 7.8mm, and weighs approximately 0.70ct. (Weights and measurements are estimated, as permitted by mounting). Ten full-cut diamonds, of about SI1 clarity and K-M color, weighing a combined 0.005ct, embellish the shoulders. The width of the band, at bottom, is just over 1/16". Top of the ring sits about 5/16" above your finger. The inside of the band is stamped with a full set of United Kingdom hallmarks, indicating 18kt gold, and manufacture in London, 1976. A maker's mark, "DHJ", is also stamped inside. The ring is size 7, and can be easily resized by your jeweler. Overall, it is in excellent vintage condition. There are a few tiny scratches on the bottom of the band, barely visible.
This elegant 1970s ring will arrive in a fine quality presentation box.
