I was told this exquisite beaded vest was Hungarian but I think it could be from a nearby country as well. I think it is from about the early 1900's. It is in quite good condition with all the beading there. Please study the pictures as the work is simply amazing. The flower beading is made up bright vivid colors. It is made of lamb skin with the fur in the interior and, there remains on the outer skin side faint gold painted stars. The bead work is about the best I have ever seen. The trim on the outer edges appears to be curly black lambs wool. Measuring 21 1/2" long by 33" at the armpit 13" across the shoulder and 37" across the bottom. Absolutely lovely!
