The lamp stands 19" tall. The molded six sided shade is 16" in diameter. It is painted on the interior with an all around band of blackberries and leaves, in purple, green, and red, against a background shading from honey to yellow toward the top. Molded shades are quite scarce, as the Handel company did not produce many lamps on this blank. The shade is signed Handel 6735 and artist initialed P, probably for Palme. The coppery patina base matches the color of the shade background. The base is unsigned, but the exact shade and base are shown in the Handel book by Fontaine & Hibel on page 100. This lamp goes very well with arts & crafts decor. Both the shade and base are in excellent condition.
