The 18" diameter shade painted on the interior with blue hibiscus flowers and leaves, small yellow flowers and leaves, and pink flowers, on a pink background. The shade is signed Handel 7121 and artist initialed M. The base is a rare signed Rookwood pottery base in pink that is the background color of the shade unlit. The base fittings are all Handel. The base wire way is molded into the base. This is an original base made by Rookwood for Handel, not a vase that was converted to a base. The lamp stands 24" tall. The base has a raised floral decoration, with similar flowers to the shade. There is a lamp shade shown in the Handel book with this number, but has pink hibiscus flowers. This shade has beautiful blue flowers. The shade and base are in excellent condition. This is a super rare lamp that is probably one of a kind. If a buyer would prefer a bronze patina base with the shade, I have several that would look fine with the shade.
