The lamp stands 27" tall, and the shade is 18" in diameter. The shade is painted on both the interior and exterior with a beautiful panoramic scene of trees and bushes along side a river, and grassy meadows and a pond on the exterior, in a multitude of greens and browns. The interior is painted with green at the bottom, and a banded sky in shades of rose, yellow, pale blue, and white. The shade is signed Handel 6210 HB for Henry Bedigie, their top artist. The shade is in excellent condition with no chips or problems. The base is signed with the Handel label under one foot, and is in excellent condition as well, with original sockets and a great original patina. This is a very rare and beautiful lamp, as it is not shown in the Handel books, and I have not seen another of this number shade. Shades painted on both the exterior and interior were usually landscapes, giving the shade great depth. This is a wonderful lamp.
