One of my personal favorites. Victorian era fold out valentine. Windmill, doves, flowers with a cute boy & girl that looks to be hand painted in front of victorian lady.
This large valentine measures 9" H by 7 1/4"W
Condition: the large heart shaped back with the lady has some edge creases (midway/ top area) and about a 1" heavy crease/ tare but not completely separated. The heavy back paper is aged but still sturdy.
A small section of flowers on both sides have some wear, lower corners are creased with one having a spot mended. Some soiling to bottom front and back.
A very unique design I have not seen before. No reference to where it was made.
