Offered for consideration is a stunning French Limoges white porcelain platter with karat gold trim and tiny pink flower pattern to the rim edge. It dates to the early 1900s-1920s and is huge, measuring approximately 21-1/2" in complete handle-to-handle width with the actual platter cavity measuring approximately 18" with a width of 14-1/2" and a depth of 2", and has no damage, very little finish wear and very little use markings. It has the backstamp for both Jean Pouyat of Limoges as well as the stamp marking "JPL France" and also has the stamp marking for J Wanamaker, the creator of the gold gild accent. Unbelievably fabulous on display when not in use!
