Antique Victorian high top brown leather lace up boots in unworn condition with the original box included. Circa 1880-1900.
Constructed using supple kid leather, these Victorian boots are simply nothing short of inconceivable in this condition and they are scarcely discovered in their original manufacturers shoe box.
The hand stitching is tiny, precise and perfectly executed.
The laces are the original antique metal tipped laces that were made for these Victorian boots.
Interior of the boots bear the, "UTZ & DUNN CO" mark of authenticity as well as the numerals 23 12 49533 which correctly match the shoe box.
These antique Victorian boots would have been custom tailored for a very special lady, one who had the finances to be able to afford boots from the prestigious Utz & Dunn Company in Rochester, New York during the between 1880 to 1900.
The exterior soles are leather, bear the, "UTZ & DUNN CO Rochester, NY" emblem and are in unworn condition. Truly unimaginable and a very, very rare find indeed!
