Vintage Art Deco black, silk crepe, flapper dress with lace bodice in a large size from the 1920's.
Black lace interior bodice of dress is covered by a semi-sheer layer of silk crepe that is sinfully soft to the touch. Lace bodice has sexy shoulder straps that are 4" wide. Small area of wear to lace bodice near armpit, pictured and not at all noticeable while worn. The lace of the bodice is black roses.
1920's rolled, scalloped and gathered drop waist with a pretty black silk rosette at the left hip is further embellished with dangly "ribbons" of black lace.
Four layered skirt with the layer closest to the skin being super soft, opaque black silk.
Outer layers of the vintage skirt have been constructed using 3 layers of graduating lengths of whisper thin, ultra luxurious, silk crepe. Please pay special attention to the hem on this flapper gown because those 3 ruffled, scalloped layers of silk crepe are each banded in the most unbelievable silk that you will ever lay our hands on and the way that this skirt, "flows" will leave 'em breathless.
Vintage 1920's flapper dress was custom made for a woman of means. Silk crepe is not cheap today and it wasn't cheap back then either. The silk rosette exhibits hand stitching. We all know that Art Deco gowns are tiny and to find one in a size that is wearable today, is a once in lifetime treasure!
Honestly, this flapper dress is the epitome of class, elegance and it is sexy as all get out!
I lightened a few of the images so that you can really see the detail on this gown.
